 A place among the stars...
« Thread Started on Dec 17, 2006, 3:36pm »

I traveled long and hard to get to an island. This island was told in many stories across several lands. The island of Angevia. A safehouse for supernatural and mortal alike. This island was suppose to be neutral. But now is the time that I will test the island. Test the way of the island, see if it's the right place to die in peace...if they do not have a cure for Shapeshifter blood.

Is there even a cure for Shapeshifter blood? I dunno. I have lived a good life. I became the crime lord of MidNight than I lost it to Thomas Unson. I tried to gain it back, but I damaged myself, by taking Shapeshifter blood. Unson is the ruler of MidNight again, I step down.

Angevia, here I come.

I reached the island of Angevia. Finally after days of travel. Was it worth it? I will soon find out. Angevia, I assume is and was a place of peace. Never in my life have I known someone who will try to find Angevia. They all believed it fell. But did the city fall? Did the great island of Angevia fall? I will soon find this all out.

Upon reaching the island I saw nothing, Nobody was there, nobody was around. I dressed all in black, the sun gleaming against me, my skin becoming badly burnt. I cannot stay out for long, I needed shelter. Please let there be somebody on this island still. Oh, please.

In the distance I saw something. My blood stained shirt from my long travels, I pulled it off. Throwing it aside, bare chested, I cannot hold that weight any longer. It was black...black attracted the sun, or so I believed. Why wear something that attracts the sun.

Being me, I kept my pants on, I will take them off at the last possible moment. The last moment I seriously needed to remove them. I continued to walk, the wet self of me, the water outside of my body, protecting me from the sun just for a few moments...the water dried.

In the distance I saw something...I kept walking toward it. Eventually it grew, and more and more buildings came before, around, and after it. It was indeed a city...It was not burned to the ground, it stood. There were people. Werewolves I sensed, Witches I seen.

The city stands...I collasped.

Kailee sent Jakob to Angevia. She knew of the island for a while, but just never told anyone. Now that Jakob was on his way to Angevia, he had a chance to rest. The last thing he remembers is that he collased in front of Kailee's house. Kailee is Jakob's cousin.

The cost to send Jakob to the island of Angevia Kailee nor Jakob had to worry about as they were both part of the Atlanta family, they had money. The Atlanta family had money. Money was not everything to Jakob. It was a luxury, but also a power. But is the power of wealth always good?

The boat stopped. The private boat Kailee paid for stopped. A soft knock came to the door Jakob was staying in. The seventeen year old cekep sat up in his bed. His face pale. Shirtless. The man who knocked on the door came in and spoke softly to him, "Mr. Atlanta, I am going to lift you up, we will have you carried to the city.

Nodding his head Jakob pushed the heavy quilt on top of him away, exposing his body. He sat there only in his underpants. Looking around weakly for his cloths to put on, he cannot see them in sight. Turning back to the man came into his room, he shrugged. "Alright, sir.'

His cloths were gone, the man in his room knew where they were. "Master Atlanta, please rest. Allow me to send someone in here to dress you," he spoke softly, "If you'd rather to do it yourself, which I do not recommend, please help yourself to the drawer on your side."

Jakob nodded, and leaned over to grab his cloths out of the drawer on the side of his bed. Pulling a shirt and some pants over, he slid the shirt on first, before trying to stand. The man looked over at Jakob and came forward, "Allow me Master Atlanta," he spoke softly in a pleasant and polite tone, he helped lift Jakob up and slide him in the jeans.

Now picking up Jakob in his arms, he carried Jakob out to the deck of the ship and placed him in a wheel chair. "Relax sir. We will be in the city of Angevia soon," the man continued.

They arrived at the city. On the ground lay a Vampire, "Erich," Jakob called in a horse voice pointing toward the Vampire on the ground, "Arrest him,"

"We cannot sir, this is a safe house. No matter the crime."
